The County Commissioners' Association of Ohio, Ohio Public Employees Deferred Compensation Program and AXA, offer 457 deferred compensation plans to county employees. These programs give employees the opportunity to defer current income, contributing on a pre-tax basis, as a means to supplement future retirement income. Monies in a deferred compensation plan are generally not available unless the employee retires, terminates employment or changes jobs.

2017 ANNUAL DEFERRAL COMPENSATION LIMITS

Regular deferral limit: $18,000

Age 50 plus deferral limit: $24,000

Catch-up deferral limit: $36,000
